India, like other countries, facing the same situation in fighting with the virus and have recorded many positive cases in a few months.

Apart from hospitals, isolation facilities have been provided by the health agencies. These facilities have been taken for an essential quarantine and have space to keep the victims isolated.

Among the fast-spreading risk of coronavirus, the government of different states of India has provided testing sites for the health and safety of victims. Many of the hospitals have been turned into isolation wards. As the cases keep on increasing day by day, the government is preparing for more rises of the infected people. Many of the nodal centers of Covid-19 have also made their isolation beds ready for the patients. Besides the existing nodal centres, the government has also asked some other hospitals as well to set up the isolation wards, adding more beds.

 The other states of India have been asked to identify the possible isolation facilities across the country. Also, there are numerous Covid-19 testing sites across each state of India. Let’s discuss each of them in detail!

Since Maharashtra has a majority number of cases, 3 of the testing sites have been provided in the state. As per the latest update, the total positive case of Coronavirus in Maharashtra rises to 112, and consequently, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Kasturba Hospital for Infectious Diseases, and NIV Mumbai Unit have been set up as a facility to test for the virus.

The union territory has also witnessed 30 positive cases and that is why the government has been set the testing facility to All India Institute Medical Sciences, Delhi.

Punjab has also witnessed 21 positive Covid-19 cases in a few days which is a concerned issue. The testing sites of this area include Government Medical College, Patiala, and Amritsar.

Uttar Pradesh
A total of 32 positive cases have been confirmed in the state. Consequently, you will get the Covid-19 testing sites in King’s George Medical University, Lucknow, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh and Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Chandigarh has around 6 positive Coronavirus cases so far and to recover this as soon as possible, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER) has been set up as a testing site.
